Para cycling road
Highlights
In Para road cycling, all cyclists start at the same time and they have to complete a determined number of laps in a circuit of 7 km to 10 km long. In time trial events, Para athletes start individually in intervals of 60 seconds.
It is in a time-trial event, where the cyclists’ time is multiplied by a factor, according to their impairment, to produce a result and determine the winners. The winner is the rider who completes the course within the shortest time.
