We lived a once in a lifetime experience at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of this international multi-sports event!
Volunteers participated in the Opening and/or Closing Ceremonies of the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games, directly on stage. They showed all their passion and energy at our ceremonies and created the most memorable shows in the history of Peru.
The auditions were overseen by Vania Masías, the Ceremony choreography director, and representatives of Italian company Balich Worldwide Shows, leader in the entertainment industry that has been in charge of the Torino 2006, Sochi 2014, and Rio 2016 Olympic Ceremonies.
The artists had diverse profiles and skills, from actors and acrobats to people with specific skills such as parkour, walking on stilts, and Peruvian cajón players, all committed to the level of enthusiasm and energy that Lima 2019 required.
Selected volunteers received training by Balich Worldwide Shows, and had classes alongside 150 professional dancers and 13 Peruvian choreographers, led by Vania Masías.
Lima 2019 Volunteer Artists were the best!
