“LET’S ALL PLAY” CAMPAIGN
“LET’S ALL PLAY” VIDEO CAMPAIGN
In 2019, Lima will have the historic opportunity to gather all the cultures of the Americas during the biggest sporting event in the continent, which will take place in our country. Therefore, we launched a campaign about the importance of the Pan American and Parapan American Games. It will encourage everyone to join the event that will put Peru under the spotlight. So, “let’s all play.”
All the cultures of the Americas will play in Peru. The athletes and their participating countries will play. The volunteers, the heart of Lima 2019, will also play. The parents who take their kids to watch the competitions and those walking the streets of Lima ready to warmly welcome the 40 delegations arriving to Lima will also play. Everyone will play for Peru. That is why we need everyone to get involved in the Games, wherever they are, from purchasing a ticket, helping visitors, respecting the rules and being great hosts: Every Peruvian plays, the Americas play. Our culture will also be promoted through sports values and by educating the population about the legacy the Games will leave our country.
Lima 2019 makes that imaginary journey from the past to the present possible by bringing the idea of united cultures to present day. This way, we will encourage people to feel identified with and proud of Peru for being the host of the Games.
THE LIMA 2019 SONG
We introduce to you the official video for our song JUGAMOS TODOS so that we continue to sing together and encouraging our athletes and Para athletes on the road to Lima 2019.
Jugamos Todos is the official song, written and produced by PEDRO SUÁREZ-VÉRTIZ®. Its lyrics talk about the passion for sports, the importance of hosting this great global event and, above all, the drive and warrior spirit of Peruvians. PEDRO SUÁREZ-VÉRTIZ® composing the Lima 2019 song is a fitting tribute for someone who has done so much for music in Peru. Over 400 million people around the world will listen to his song, and we are thrilled about it. Guillermo Bussinger, lead singer of PEDRO SUÁREZ-VÉRTIZ® La Banda, and Maria José Suárez-Vértiz, daughter of the national rock singer, perform the song. Join us and have a great time! #LetsAllPlay and have fun.
