Para Athletics
Highlights
Para athletics made its debut in the Mexico City 1999 Parapan American Games, and has continued adding new sport classes every year ever since, thus becoming the most practiced Para sport in the world.
Its sixth edition gathered many Paralympic medalists and was a qualifier for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. This sport includes various disciplines and events divided into races, jumps and throws. Its wide classifciation allows the participation of athletes with various kinds of impairments
