Milco, the official mascot of the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games that became very popular during this multi-sports event, visited the offices of the Ministry of Environment to join the “Pan American Donation” campaign.

This special program is part of the “Voluntary blood donation campaign,” which was set up to help the young patients hospitalized in the Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño in San Borja.

That is why Milco surprised Ministry of Environment employees at their workplace, to encourage them to join the blood donation campaign that will take place there this Monday, between 09:00 and 17:00. The Games’ mascot greeted each worker and took pictures with them, encouraging them to become donors.

The objective of the Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño is for each blood donation to help save up to three lives. This campaign will be replicated in other ministries to increase participation in this “Pan American Donation” campaign.
