Recommendations

The Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games Organizing Committee has some recommendations for the spectators that will attend the competitions to cheer on the athletes:

  • Do not throw objects to the competition track. For example, bottles, pennants, flowers, balloons, among others.
  • Do not try to help an athlete cool down with water bottles.
  • Do not interfere with the competition circuit.
  • Do not bring pets to the venues, as they may burst into the competition zone.

It should be noted that during the competition days, some avenues will be closed to facilitate athletes’ transportation and spectators’ access. Therefore, we urge the citizens to be tolerant with the implications of the event.
