Spectator access to competition precincts will be for pedestrians only due to parking restrictions. Visitors must use public transportation only. Lima 2019 will provide pedestrian routes from each public transportation stop to the precinct gate. Discover them!
LANES LIMA 2019
Lima 2019 transportation services will implement exclusive lanes in the Peruvian capital to guarantee regular travel times for all attendees and comply with the schedule of each of the events.
The objective of the Lima 2019 lanes is to provide the transportation required to transfer Athletes, Team Officials, Technical Officials, Press, Broadcast and Games Family, in order to comply with the following aspects:
- Prioritizing athlete transfers to the competition venues.
- Increasing the reliability of travel times on each journey.
- Minimizing the impact on the overall traffic of Lima and Callao.
According to the Peruvian National Police Transit Department, the Lima 2019 exclusive lanes and preferential lanes are set on a route-based configuration.

The routes to access or connect venues, which branch off from the Lima 2019 lanes, will begin operating 3 to 4 hours before the start of each competition and will finish at least 1.5 hours after the competitions have finished.
