Para badminton
Highlights
Para badminton is a relatively young sport, with its first championship having been held in 1998. This sport had its Parapan American debut in the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games and will have its paralympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
Para badminton is a Para sport adapted for people with physical impairments (who may or may not use a prosthesis) and for wheelchair users. The only real adaptation is for wheelchair users, as only half the court is used on each side.
