Sport review

The circuit is a natural area, mainly in mountains, with uphill, downhill and flat sections. It is performed at full speed through different obstacles such as rocks, logs, narrow passes, in an impressive demonstration of strength and precision. A total of 20 men and 14 women participated in this edition of the Pan American Games. Start positions were based on the current Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) ranking and riders had to complete a set number of laps. The first rider to cross the finish line won.
The venue for this sport at Lima 2019 was Morro Solar in Chorrillos, in front of the Costa Verde.
