Panam Sports
Panam Sports is the heart of the Olympic Movement across the Americas and leads the development of the Pan American Games, which are held every four years.
This entity appoints the host city for each edition of the Games, being the winner this year Lima, the Peruvian capital.
One of the most important roles of Panam Sports is to fuel the development of sports and support the work of its 41 member nations to inspire the next generation of athletes in our continent.

The Americas Paralympic Committee (APC)
The Americas Paralympic Committee (APC) was established in August 1997 with the aim of representing the International Olympic Committee (IPC) in the Americas.
Julie Dussliere is the current director of this important entity, which has been in force since its foundation because there were no Paralympic committees in the region prior to that.
International Paralympic Committee (IPC)
It was founded on September 22, 1989 as a non-profit organization. The IPC aims to develop sports opportunities for all people with an impairment from the beginner to elite level.
It is the international governing body of the Paralympic Movement responsible for organizing the winter and summer Paralympic Games, in addition to coordinating world championships and more.
Headquartered in Bonn, Germany, this organization has 200 members, whose motto and vision is "to enable Para athletes to achieve sporting excellence and inspire and excite the world."
The National Paralympic Association of Peru (ANPP)
The National Paralympic Association of Peru (ANPP) promotes sport for people with an impairment and is committed to give them the opportunity to participate in different events of the Paralympic Circuit.
The ANPPERU groups a wide variety of Paralympic sports within its movement, such as wheelchair basketball, boccia, Paracanoe, wheelchair fencing, football 5-a-side, football 7-a-side, goalball, Para powerlifting, judo, Para athletics, Para badminton, Para cycling, Para swimming, Para taekwondo, Para-rowing, shooting Para sport, Para archery and sitting volleyball.
