The largest sports event in Peru’s history, the Lima 2019 Games, has set people talking and you cannot miss out the competitions! Here we’ll explain to you how to get to the venues with the most sports.

We suggest you use public transportation because, apart from generating traffic, it will be difficult to find a parking lot. Here we go:

VILLA MARÍA DEL TRIUNFO sPORTS cENTER

ADDRESS: Av. Primavera No. 1491. El Milagro José Carlos Mariátegui (10 min. away from the Línea 1 station).

FROM NORTHERN LIMA/CENTER OF LIMA:

OPTION 1:
1. Take the Metropolitano to the María Auxiliadora station.
2. Get on a bus to the sports center.

OPTION 2:
1. Get on a public transportation bus that goes along Av. Panamericana. Make sure the bus goes along Av. Los Héroes (Route “A”).
2. Get off at the María Auxiliadora Hospital and take another bus to the sports center.

VILLA EL SALVADOR SPORTS CENTER

ADDRESS: Av. 1 de Mayo s/n - Villa El Salvador

OPTION 1:
1. Get on the Metropolitano to the Matellini station.
2. Take the Villa El Salvador shuttle bus and get off at the Pastor Sevilla bus stop.

OPTION 2:
1. Take the Metropolitano to the Parque Industrial station.
2. Get on a public transportation bus that goes along Av. El Sol and get off at the sports center.

OPTION 3:
1. Get on a public transportation bus that goes along Av. Panamericana. Make sure it follows the Route C and get off at the sports center.

NATIONAL SPORTS VILLAGE - vIDENA

ADDRESS: Av. Del Aire S/N, San Luis.

FROM NORTHERN LIMA:

1. Get on the Metropolitano and get off at the Canada station.
2. Take a bus to the intersection of Av. Aviación and Av. San Luis.

FROM SOUTHERN LIMA:

1. Get on the Metropolitano and get off at the Cultura station.
2. Walk around four blocks on the Av. Aviación and you’ll arrive at the Videna.

cALLAO REGIONAL VILLAGE

DIRECCIÓN: Av. Guardia Chalaca 2199, Bellavista

FROM NORTHERN LIMA:

1. Get on a public transportation bus that goes along Av. Faucett or Av. Universitaria.
2. Get off at Av. Oscar R. Benavides Venezuela.
3. Take another bus to the Callao Regional Sports Village

FROM SOUTHERN LIMA:

There are two options:

OPTION 1:
1. Take the Corredor Rojo to the intersection of Av. La Marina and Av. Faucett.
2. Get on a public transportation bus that goes along Av. Guardia Chalaca up to the Sports Village.

OPTION 2:
1. Get on the Metropolitano up to the 2 de Mayo station.
2. Get on a public transport bus that goes along Av. Oscar R. Benavides up to the Sports Village.
 

SAN MARCOS STADIUM

ADDRESS: Av. Venezuela 3450 – 3452, Cercado de Lima (entrance on Av. Amézaga)

FROM NORTHERN LIMA:

1. Get on a public transportation bus that goes along Av. Universitaria.

FROM SOUTHERN LIMA:

OPTION 1:
1. Take the Corredor Rojo to the Av. Universitaria.
2. Walk around two blocks on the Av. Amézaga.

OPTION 2:
1. Get on the Metropolitano up to the 2 de Mayo station.
2. Get on a public transport bus that goes along Av. Oscar R. Benavides (formerly known as Av. Colonial) up to the intersection with Av. Amézaga.

costa verde - san miguel

ADDRESS: Circuito de Playas S/N, Costa Verde (in front of the Acantilado Bertoloto)  

The entrance is on Costa Verde, so we suggest you get a cab once you get as close as possible to the beach circuit.
