During Lima 2019 our city has become not only a great sports festival but also a great cultural celebration. And free! This celebration is called: Culturaymi. It is a cultural program that includes live music by our best artists, workshops, dances, food festival and more.

CONCERTS

Let's be optimistic. Let’s suppose that the average cost of a concert ticket is PEN 50.00 (even we all know that a great music festival can cost more than PEN 200.00). Now, let's consider that until the end of August there will be more than 40 bands. Leave it at 40 to simplify the calculation. Here it is:

With Culturaymi: PEN 0.00

These are some of the bands: Lucho Quequezana, Sabor y Control, Bareto, Wendy Sulca, Mar de Copas, Daniel F, Gala Brie and more. Pauchi Sasaki, the great violinist who played beautifully "El cóndor pasa” at the opening ceremony, will also be there. International artists!

CINEMA

Movie ticket? About PEN 15.00. But if you go with friends, couple or family, the total cost would be higher. Among the films to be broadcast, there will be “Prueba de fondo”, which describes the arduous journey of our long-distance runner Inés Melchor; and “Rodar contra todo,” a feature film that tells the complicated story of the first wheelchair rugby team in Peru.

GASTRONOMY

We would love to offer free food, but since it's so delicious, we would run out of ingredients on the first day! But remember, we don't charge entrance fees.

The amount you spend depends on how hungry you come, but there are different prices and food for all tastes.

DANCES, THEATRE, WORKSHOPS AND MORE

There will be everything from children's theater to acrobatics with mast, dances, crafts, discussion groups and more. There are so many things to see, enjoy and learn at Culturaymi, so you’d better take a look at the full schedule of activities here. Remember: everything is free.
