BMX Freestyle has become popular and adapted to the concrete surface. Today, tricks and jumps are performed on flat surfaces, obstacles or ramps according to the sport discipline: park, flat and street.

Park competitions will be held at the Pan American Games. This discipline will be evaluated by a jury, who will analyze the cyclist's routine. The score is awarded according to the difficulty of the tricks, originality and style of each maneuver.
