Learn more about the Pan American Games
An unprecedented sports event was held for the first time in Peru: The Pan American Games. About 6,700 athletes participated in 39 sports and 61 disciplines, 22 of which were qualifiers to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The competitions spanned 17 days, along with their respective ceremonies, during which athletes demonstrated their talents in many locations of Lima and Callao. At least 14 districts housed venues, such as the National Sports Village (VIDENA), the Villa María del Triunfo Sports Center, and the Callao Regional Sports Village, among others.
