Handball is a ball sport, where two teams of seven people (six players and a goalkeeper) compete. It is played in two halves of 30 minutes each, on a rectangular field with a goal post on both sides. Players pass and dribble a small ball with their hands to score goals on the opposing team. It is not uncommon to score 50 goals during one match in this fast, physical game. The players move the ball up the field only with their hands, in order to place it inside the opponent’s post and score a goal.
